Ive been in the domain name business for several years now.  More recently I have been parking domains and collecting advertising revenue from people who click on the advertisements.  Its really not a bad deal.  You can get a domain name for as low as $6.95/year so you have 365 days to recoup that from advertising revenue.  Most of the time its pretty easy.
